Toei has announced the anime film adaptation of the manga "Peleliu -Guernica in Paradise-" by Kazuyoshi Takeda, which was serialized in Young Animal magazine (Hakusensha) from 2016 to 2021 and won the Japan Cartoonists Association Award for Excellence in 2017 (currently serialized irregularly in "Peleliu Gaiden"). In this work, 10,000 Japan soldiers were sent and only 34 survived, and what young people think on Peleliu Island, the site of the fierce battle of the Pacific War ......
