On this day (April 15), Toho revealed in its financial results for the full year ending February 2024 that operating revenue from its anime business increased by 90.7% year-on-year to 46.269 billion yen. In addition to 98% growth in Japan, it also grew by 78% overseas, growing significantly both domestically and internationally. All sources, from distribution to allocation, performed well, recording year-on-year gains.
